At our end of year 2024 reflection, I asked our team members if there was anything they wish they knew better after/ wanted improved after becoming a Marketing member. One exceptionally large issue mentioned was our current use of Notion.
It was like stepping into a jungle of documents – overwhelming, scattered, and impossible to navigate. The Documents and Projects sections were anything but helpful. Need to find the accounts list? Good luck! Looking for a guide? Prepare for a scavenger hunt. The clutter slowed us down and frustrated everyone.



Enough was enough. It was time to tackle the chaos head-on and create a system that worked for everyone. Wanted to make this easier from 2025 onwards!
I decided to reorganize everything by function. Now, each document and resource has a clear home:
To make it even cleaner, I introduced toggles to hide the documents until you need them. No more endless scrolling. And for those in a hurry, there’s now a handy shortcut at the top of the page – just one click to access all our files.
This isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about efficiency and ease of use. Now, Marketing team members can focus on their work instead of wasting time searching for the right document. It’s a small change that makes a big difference.
