I’m Speechless.
Wow.
There’s just something so surreal about looking back and thinking…we actually did that. After all the setbacks, late nights, doubts and pushing through… here we are. And honestly? It feels amazing.
This semester has been one for the books, and I just wanted to pause and highlight two moments that meant a lot to me.

So… I ran 6.5km. On a Sunday morning. With zero prior running experience. But I was determined to see this through.
It was for the Memory Walk & Jog, raising money and awareness for those impacted by dementia. Overall, the event raised $422,000 which is just... wild. Team Dappi (aka me, Jackie and Tyler (who are the best support crew ever)) set out to raise $200 and hit it in less than 48 hours. We started at $17, blinked, and suddenly we were there.
The run itself was rough. The middle bit almost broke me. I genuinely thought I was going to throw up. Twice. But I remembered the harder parts of my life and how I got through those. And then this? This was nothing in comparison. This mindset kept me going.
Huge thank you to every single person who donated, supported, or even just believed in us during their own hectic uni lives. You made it feel possible. I’m already looking forward to trying for 10km next time. One step at a time (with the help of Strava to track my progress and keep me accountable).

There’s something incredibly special about witnessing the result of months of planning, collaboration, and perseverance. This year, we went big or went home.
